This project is part of a series of research around the theme “how not to draw”. The objective is to put as much distance as possible between the hand and the crayon.
The video recording was done with scraped material. A couple of webcams bought or found in flea markets connected to an aold Eeepc. The sound is recorded with the built-in microphone of the machine and desynchronises as the video runs due to the poor quality of the equipment used. One camera records what the driver sees while the other records the gesture of the crayon on paper.
