Research around tools for collaborative practices in graphical design.
Design with Git has the ambition of being a software allowing graphic designers to compare in a comprehensible way the different versions of their visual project, and specially the ones done in SVG.
Considering that todays graphic designers use more and more vector formats for their work and considering that the also embrace more and more the version control systems such as Git, it is necessary to come up with visual tools that augment, facilitate and encourage enteractions between designers.
This project has been selected by the Media Lab Prado in 2013 to be part of the Interactivos’13 session. It was also presented the same year at Libre Graphics Meeting in Madrid.
Development is happening on Github and all the notes around this work are on a wiki.
